Microgreens FAQ

How long do they stay fresh?

Noble Planter Microgreens can easily last up to 3 weeks in the fridge, while keeping their crunch, taste and color.

How do I store microgreens?

If your microgreens are packaged in a clamshell plastic container, place a dry paper towel in the bottom to catch any extra moisture inside the clamshell. Always keep microgreens refrigerated or on a cold line in the kitchen.

Do your microgreens need to be washed?

Our microgreens are grown in a clean environment and harvested by hand. We recommend rinsing right before use, but many enjoy them straight from the pack.

How much waste will I endure by using your microgreens in my kitchen?

All microgreens are 100% usable and are considered as a zero-waste product. The fact that Noble Planter microgreens can stay fresh for up to a month if not longer is something that adds to the usability of our microgreens.

How do you grow them?

I personally grow all microgreens with a Fox Farm Soilless Blend in 10x20 trays under LED lighting bars. Everything from the seed spreading, harvesting, and packaging is done according to the food safety standards. Using non-GMO seeds, clean water and zero pesticides, everything is hand harvested, and hand grown for maximum freshness.

Are microgreens the same as sprouts?

Nope! Sprouts are grown in water and eaten seed and all. Microgreens are grown in a substrate & harvested above the root line for better flavor and safty.
